Our Brand Origin
DewDropHues was born from its founder’s name—Mihika, meaning “dew drop.” The name is a symbol of beauty, freshness, and possibility. Each drop, though delicate, carries a full spectrum of color—the hues that inspired our journey.
Our palette—the golden yellows of Rajasthan’s sands, the deep blue of open desert skies, and the sparkling white of desert stars—reflects not just color, but emotion and origin. These tones are an ode to the landscapes we come from and the lives that shape our craft.
Our Brand Essence
At DewDropHues, we believe that every home deserves beauty that is slow, soulful, and deeply rooted. We are not just a home brand—we are storytellers of India’s rich textile traditions.
Our collections shine a light on the artisans and communities whose hands bring these stories to life. From the Chhippa block printers of Jaipur, to the delicate Phulkari threadwork of Punjab, the gleaming Shisha embroidery of Gujarat, and the intricate Kashidakari of Kashmir, we honor the legacy of each stitch, each pattern, and each soul behind them.
At the heart of DewDropHues is a commitment to slow living—to choosing softness, depth, and intention over mass and haste. We emphasize natural textures and traditional techniques, offering pieces that feel as good as they look. This is affordable luxury made by hand, meant to last, and designed to feel like home.
We invite you to decorate with meaning and to live surrounded by the warmth of handmade heritage.
Founder Story
Hello to all you beautiful people!
I’m Mihika, the name behind DewDropHues—a passion-turned-home décor brand built on a love for textiles, textures, and the stories they carry.
Growing up as an Army kid, life was always on the move. Packing, unpacking, and setting up new homes became second nature. But the best part? Re-doing the décor with my mom. Every new place had its own charm, and every new market introduced us to something beautiful—handloom fabrics, earthy block prints, delicate embroideries, and the magic of handmade textiles. That’s where it all began.
Even while chasing degrees and working a 9-to-5 job, this dream kept brewing in the background—late-night idea exchanges with my mom, doodling plans into notebooks. Then life took another turn—I moved to the US after getting married. Amidst all the change, I found inspiration in the small businesses around me. That’s when I knew—it was time. I quit my job, took a deep breath, and jumped right in.
So here we are, embracing the beauty of slow, handmade, and meaningful décor. I hope you find something here that feels like home. I hope you embrace our products as much as we embrace bringing them to you!
