I’m Mihika, the heart and hands behind DewDropHues—a passion turned home décor brand, built on a love for textiles, textures, and the stories they carry.

Growing up as an Army kid, life was always on the move. Packing, unpacking, and setting up new homes became second nature, but the best part? Re-doing the decor with my mom. Every new place had its own charm, and every new market introduced us to something beautiful—handloom fabrics, earthy block prints, delicate embroideries, and the magic of handmade textiles. That’s where it all began.

Even while chasing degrees and sitting in a 9-to-5 job, this dream kept brewing in the background—late-night idea exchanges with my mom, sketches, fabric swatches tucked into notebooks. And then life took another turn—I moved to the US after getting married. Amidst all the change, I found inspiration in the small businesses around me, in people creating something meaningful with their hands and hearts. That’s when I knew—it was time. I quit my job, took a deep breath, and jumped right in.

DewDropHues is my way of bringing that journey to you. We curate handcrafted home linens—bedding, table runners, throw pillows, and more—each piece steeped in tradition, raw textures, and artisan stories. It’s not about mass-produced perfection but about the little imperfections that make something feel real, lived-in, and soulful. We work with artisans across India to keep these age-old techniques alive, while creating something fresh for modern homes.

And the name? DewDropHues is a little piece of me—Mihika means "Dew Drop," and Hues represent the endless colors, moods, and artistry of textiles.
